Versatility in a Dry Rosé

New York Times - The City
Wine Under $20 - From Austria, a Dry Rosé That’s Versatile

Austrians love the salmon-pink dry rosé from Tegernseerhof, a superior estate in Wachau, a scenic white-wine region northwest of Vienna.

The screw-capped 2007, made from native zweigelt grapes, offers a rose-petal aroma, a red-currant flavor and a citric finish that quenches after-tennis thirst. It’s interesting cold or nearly warm.

Martin Brothers, 2781 Broadway (107th Street), charges $13.99.
